Elegant Biedermeier walnut shovel chair from Austria circa 1820.
Walnut veneer and solid wood. Strongly curved backrest. Square tapered legs, straight at the front, curved at the back. Intermediate bar in solid walnut oval baguette. Restored and polished by hand with shellac.
The seat cushion is removable. We left the old black leather well preserved. On request, we can also reupholster it with a fabric of your choice.
