Sumptuous osculatory reliquary in solid silver containing a beautiful relic of the apostle Saint-Jacques Major whose legendary sanctuary is located in Compostela. The master goldsmith from Mechelen, Victor Grielens, who is the author, was inspired by Flemish baroque reliquaries from the end of the seventeenth century. The Belgian guarantee hallmarks are those from the period 1831-68 and for solid silver 834%. The relic continues in its center is set in a silver medallion dating from the seventeenth century and is sealed with a red lacquer seal with the episcopal coat of arms.
