A complementary pair of lions (male and female). Very well detailed, on integral rectangular bases, perhaps carved walnut. Modeled after Canova's original design. The longest is approximately 43 cm. Excellent condition and a rich patina, perhaps Grand Tour, estimated to be late 19th century.
