6 Directoire Walnut Chairs (19th Century)
Set of six gondola chairs in Directoire style from the 19th century, made of honey-colored walnut wood. The curved backs rest on the curved side uprights, which join the seat frame in line with the front legs. A vertical bar, also curved, is carved with a crown of foliage centered with a rosette. The front legs are slightly arched, and the rear legs are in opposite sabre shapes. The removable seat cushions are covered with wine-colored horsehair fabric, in perfect condition.
