Carrara Marble sculpture, “Little Love”, seated on a brown Onyx cushion (semi-precious stone), with lighter and darker parts engraved with flowers and foliage. This cushion bears the signature A Saccardi, Italian Sculptor (1883-1956) who worked mainly in Florence. It dates from the beginning of the 20th century, from the “Art Nouveau” period and style. Her hair is held by a ribbon closed with a beautiful looped knot, typical of the 1900 era. It is a work of great finesse in the execution of the facial features, the position of the hands - we even sees the details of fingernails and toenails.
