Ebonized wood frames with gilded profile. In addition to malachite and lapis lazuli, we find the marbles Giallo di Siena, Rosso di Verona, Violet de Vilette, Portor des Pyrénées, Bleu Belge, Francais, Rosé Vif des Pyrénées, Rouge de Languedoc, Rouge Alicante and a few other varieties. The Boeotian frames feature identical inlays in an inverted arrangement.
