Born in Milan in 1802, he began his studies at the Brera Academy in Milan in 1818 and became a pupil of Giovanni MIGLIARA, his urban views in perspective and his subjects of a historical nature were his specialty, he made numerous stays in Paris from 1830 to 1834 and in 1841 when his new master, Luigi BIASI, S ETENLI IN Milan, settled in Venice where he was appointed professor of perspective at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1845. he excevutes a good number of Vedutes of Venice and its region with frequent sendings of his works to the Salon of Fine Arts of Milan and to the society Promoter of beautiful Arti di Torino.
