Pair of large neo-classical cassolettes or urns in bronze with brown patina on gadrooned shower base. Gilt bronze ornamentation of shells, palmettes and acanthus leaves. Two holds with lion heads flanked by scrolls and topped with a pomegranate. Lids decorated with acanthus leaves and pomegranate-shaped fret. Gilded brass urn receptacles. Height 43 cm, width at the handles 24.5 cm.
