Marcel Gobin (1872 Lyon – 1964 Villeurbanne) Large oil on canvas worked thickly with a knife representing a Norman village in a warm twilight light in stormy weather. In the collection by Dominique Dumas: “Salons and exhibition in Lyon 1886 – 1918 catalog of exhibitors and list of their works”, we find that Marcel Gobin was born in Lyon, that he was a student of Loubet then that he attended the fine arts schools of Lyon.
