Pair Of Obelisk Candelables, Paris Around 1805
Artist: Attribué à Louis-auguste Hervieu
With four lights, on its three identical sides, these candelabras can be admired on all sides in the same way when placed in the center of a table.
In two-color bronze, four arms of light including a central one, mounted in the shape of a three-sided obelisk embellished with attributes of the first empire. (Sphinx with winged lion's head, eagle...).
The feet are shaped like lion's legs, the bases are decorated with caducees lined to their left with a rose and on their right with laurel.
Very great elegance and finesse of bronze chisels.
