Very pretty representation of a carved wooden statuary of the bodhisattva Guanyin. She stands on a rock holding her rosary in her right hand. Remains of polychromy and Chinese characters. Very pretty patina of the whole. Good general condition apart from cracks in the wood due to weather conditions. Dimensions: Height: 96 cm; Length: 23 cm; width: 20 cm. Origin: China. Period: End of the Qing Dynasty - 1st quarter of the 20th century.
