Empire patinated bronze and ormolu clock, mercury gilt, early 19th century production circa 1805 - 1810 signed Andre Antoine Ravrio - one of the most famous Empire bronze makers like Thomire and Claude Galle - and Mesnil - clockmaker - on the enamelled dial.

Beautiful, large, elegant model showing a vestal virgin in the antique way leaning on the altar of love. Matt and shiny gilt finish.

In excellent condition, complete, gilt is very fresh.
