Library pedestal or coffee table in tea table format in lemon and mahogany veneer, white marble top in a gallery. The octagonal shaft simulates grooves and rests on a tripod base with casters. The pedestal table has a tilting top so it can be stored against a wall. Louis XVI Directoire period, late 18th century. The format is unusual, the pedestal table is light and elegant. beautiful amateur furniture. Very good condition, the old varnish has been cleaned and revived by our cabinetmaker.
