Alger, Famin et Cie, nd [circa 1880]. 21 photographs and a printed plate, gathered under a full cherry cardboard folder in imitation of shagreen, fat and lean cold fillets framing the boards, which are also decorated with large angular cold fleurons, title stamped in gold on the first , smooth back. Meeting comprising - under titled publishing portfolio - a plate on strong cardboard with text printed in Arabic as well as 21 photographs (unsigned) on albumen paper; each laminated on strong cardboard. These photos (in a medium format of 24 x 18 cm) include portraits (Kabyles, Moors, Jews), genre scenes, buildings, landscapes (including Bilda Falls) as well as a camel camp. One of these photos - although unsigned - is the work of Alexandre Leroux. Some of them have been captioned in graphite on the reverse of the montages. It should be noted that the portraits are of particularly striking quality. Shirt showing some alterations: worn corners, loss of coloring on the margins of the covers as well as on the back (which also has a small perforation). Well preserved photos. Three have a discreet marginal abrasion. Two more, a slightly altered sheen.
