The book is occupied on the cover by an original color lithograph by Jean-Baptiste Valadié and is lined with the autograph signatures of the artist as well as the publisher.

The copy also includes 23 original lithographs: two of which are signed by the artist in graphite.

In addition to the color lithographs it should contain, it conceals, in a separate folder, a breakdown of two plates (whereas it should only feature one). But devoid of the ''original composition of a departure or in-text double plate signed'' announced in the colophon, as well as the ''suite of all double plates in color on large Arches vellum''.
