Lovely oil by Felix ZIEM representing one of his favorite themes, a view of Venice, painted here at setting sun, various boats (gondola, sailboats...) standing out against pleasant orange tones.

The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the Felix Ziem Association on 03-15-2024 and will be included in the catalogue raisonné in preparation

Unsigned

Ziem's small-format works, often sketches, are regularly unsigned, monogrammed "Z" or more rarely, signed "Ziem" (signatures which may be apocryphal on initially unsigned sketches...).

Very good general condition, some tiny millimeter gaps, almost imperceptible

On the reverse, presence of sketches, an old Felix ZIEM label and a number 7329
