"Bonnard - Drawing 1930 - Fruits - Study For Painting"
Lovely drawing by BONNARD who has placed an assortment of fruits (apple, orange, etc.) in the center of the composition, in front of a balcony and a suggested landscape in the background.*** After research, we finally discovered that this drawing was made in 1930 and was a study for a larger format gouache and watercolor that is in the collections of the LOUVRE museum, entitled "Dark Harmony" (see last photo)
*** This drawing was presented by the prestigious New York gallery FINDLAY GALLERIES at the "Master drawings New-York" fair from 01-26-2019 to 02-02-2019
