"Ritual Object In Tinned Copper, Iraq, 18th/19th Century"
An ancient hammered and formerly tinned copper bowl, a ritual sound instrument with a central indentation containing seeds that resonate when the bowl is shaken to enhance the potion's potion (?). The tinned copper bowl features a star-shaped decoration on the indentation surrounded by 24 radiating gadroons. Originating from Iraq, it was found in Mosul in the early 1980s.
