"Second Curtain First Empire In Daffodil Yellow Satin Gourgouran - France Circa 1810"
Circa 1810 France Second curtain in a series of three First Empire curtains in daffodil yellow Gourgouran, fitted with their original brass rings. Satin background with stripes bordered with geometric miniatures. Original sewn fringes in color and lining in vintage yellow taffeta and brown satinette. Flawless. Exceptionally good condition for the period. Usable in historical decoration without problem. 980 euros each curtain. The linings are light brown sateen and First Empire yellow taffeta (the Empire yellow taffeta being as rare as the gourgouran of this period). Dimensions: 305 cm high by 104 cm.
