False chinstrap chin strap with gold brass curb chain held by two large module buttons stamped with a flaming grenade, black patent leather visor surrounded by a gold brass bangle. Inner cap in black leather, size marking: 60 1/2, chin strap in blackened and patent leather held by two small leather tabs themselves attached to the ventilation eyelets. In the bottom of the cap, stamp in the name of the manufacturer "ETts J.BARRAU - PARIS" Golden officer's pompom. Headdress worn, in good state of conservation.
