Student at the Académie van Brussel. Taught after 1890 at the School of Arts and Crafts in Brussels. He is known for his seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes and genre paintings. He also produced watercolors. His works are exhibited in museums such as: Tournai, Antwerp, Ixelles, Lille.
