A FINE MINING THEODOLITE BY JOS & JAN FRIC, PRAGUE, CIRCA 1895 constructed of oxidized and lacquered brass with fitted vulcanized rubber thumbscrews, the 8½in. main tube with spirit level quadrant mounted on an A-frame on a rectangular compass platform, signed according to title and numbered 928, adjustable tri-form bracket, contained in original fitted box with manufacturer's labels - 14 x 12 inches.
