18k (750°/°°) gold necklace composed of a Louis XVI knot surmounting an oval diamond motif supporting a fine movable pearl. Louis XVI style knots came back into fashion during the Belle Epoque period and this necklace is a nice example. Presence of the eagle's head hallmark for French work in 18 carat gold.
