"Box / Pill Box In Silver France 20th Century "
Box/pill box in molten silver, on a flat bottom, has a scalloped shape with a hinged lid. The edge of the box is decorated in relief with scrolls of acanthus leaves forming medallions with images of alternating bouquets of roses and dragonflies. On the lid there is a bas-relief image of dancing angels surrounded by flowers and foliage. Modern French work in the style of Louis XV. Minerva 925/1000 hallmarks, goldsmith hallmarks. Dimensions: 7 cm X 5.2 cm X 2.7 cm Weight: 143 g Perfect condition.
