Drawing of a tree of life with thin angular branches loaded with birds, also very close to a toile de Jouy from the Oberkampf factory. The red print recalls the subtle color gradients of Indian canvases. At the edge sewn a canvas with wavy and shaded stripes. Unlined curtains. Unidentified 20th century French publisher.
