BOUCHERON, Beauty Kit / Minaudière, circa 1945
Beauty box / Minaudière in silver and vermeil, the openwork lid decorated with birds in chiseled foliage and flowers of which thirteen pistils are set with rubies and round faceted sapphires.
Inside, an opening mirror with two shutters has two compartments including a powder compact, a lipstick case, a cigarette holder and a small tortoiseshell comb.
Signed “BOUCHERON PARIS” and numbered.
Accompanied by a black suede and grosgrain pouch with twisted handle and patch envelope pocket on the back to carry the beauty kit as an evening bag.
