Mass Cruets And Their Tray
Pair of mass cruets and their original tray from the 30s/40s. The mass cruets are made of blown glass with a spherical body and pouring spout, brass frame, gold and silver, pretty carving details, curved handle with a dolphin's head. Each lid is topped with a glass bead, red for one, colorless for the other, set like a flower heart. Oval tray, silvered and gilded, beautiful gold chiseled frieze of windings on the wing. Golden edge and frieze of golden pearls. The whole thing is in good condition, no scratches or de-silvering, very little oxidation remaining to be cleaned, a tiny crack in a burette ring (indicated by an arrow in a detail photo). Note: uncommon model. Delivery: €15 for mainland France.
