Louis XVI period fan. The leaf is in skin painted with gouache of a central cartel representing a gallant scene and on the sides putti painted in grisaille, observe the scene. Flowers, foliage and the attribute of music and love complete this charming leaf. The frame is in ivory. It measures 10,70 inches closed and 19,68 inches in diameter open. Circa 1780.
