Marabout jug in plain silver, the body engraved with beautiful alliance coats of arms under a Marquis crown, by the master goldsmith Jean Baptiste Nolin, Paris 1744-1745. Jean Baptiste Nolin was made a master goldsmith on December 2, 1740. Weight 172g. Condition, very good, beautiful coat of arms. The handle is woven with period rattan. I think it's a creamer. Rare.
