" Cartel Wall Lamp In Gilt Bronze 'after Osmond Louis XVI XVIIIth Period"
Gilt bronze wall cartel after a model by *Robert OSMOND Louis XVI XVIIIth period. The cushion is decorated with a fire pot whose handles support two ribbons. The white enameled circular dial signed "Veyrin à Paris" indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals, it is surmounted by a feminine mask and lets out a garland of laurel leaves in the lower part the base is decorated with an exploded grenade Gilding in very good condition cleaned by our workshop (formerly re-gilded) Original wire movement striking the hours and half-hours operating with its key. * Robert OSMOND (1711-1789) received Master Foundry in January 1748, one of the most important Parisian craftsmen of the second half of the 18th century, creator of numerous clock cases and cartels.
