Superb Tibetan thangka, painted on toil with very bright colors. It depicts the transcendental Amitabha Buddha (Amitayus) sitting in meditation position, surrounded by two disciples, with many other figures of the Buddhist pantheon. Executed in Tibet in the late 19th century, it is characterized by a very high pictorial quality and is in a state of conservation totally perfect.
