Exceptional Canivet Reliquary With 140 Relics Including Christ's Clothing - 18th Century

Italian work offering an original presentation of approximately 140 relics, in a series of twelve niches and fifteen medallions.
The 12 and the 15 being symbolic numbers, that of the 12 universally known, and that of the 15 presenting in particular the 15 steps leading to the Temple of Solomon which we find in the 15 psalms of the ascended.
The whole is inserted in a beautiful frame, carved and gilded with gold leaf. The niches present numerous relics arranged on canivets. The medallions also feature relics.
A significant part of the martyrologist is present here. In the center is the essential, not to say Heaven in its essence, namely a precious medallion with a double glory which honors relics called ex-vest "of the most sacred garment of our Lord Jesus Christ".
This reliquary features its large authentic dated 1735 with trace of the ancient wax seal and a detailed representation of all the relics presented.
Piece in good condition – some gaps on the frame. Dimensions of the whole 83 cm by 57.
