Pair of modernist armchairs from the 1950s. These armchairs of French origin are typical of the modernist movement. They are close to the work of Pierre Guariche in particular. They rest on a black lacquered tubular metal base. The armrests are detached from the backrest which brings an originality and a lightness to distinguish on this pair. Ideal for a living room, their plump backrest offers pleasant comfort. They have been relacquered and reupholstered in a pretty heather cream fabric. The seat height is 40cm. 4 armchairs, 2 pairs are available in total.
