Ivory Coast, Dan people, early 20th century, superb bronze musical bracelet decorated with nine bells in groups of three units with concentric motifs. The number of bells varied according to the social rank and age of the woman wearing it. Beautiful quality creation. The sound emanating from the moving bracelet is pleasant and harmonious.
Total width 12.8 cm. Height 9.5 cm (10.4 cm with its pretty custom-made base made at the request of the previous owner). Good condition.
