Original pencil drawing by "Marie de Médicis" dated February 17, 1810. Unsigned, however attributed to Alphonse de Boisricheux (? - 1852) (comes from a pocket of drawings sometimes signed by him). Great freshness of the drawing. Details of the hair of great beauty, as well as the shadows and particularly in the jewelry worn (pearls of the necklace and earring). Size of the sheet of paper: 30 x 44 cm Paper slightly scorched on the upper edge. Faint folds on the left side of the sheet. Marie de Médicis (1575-1642) was Queen of France and Navarre from 1600 to 1610 through her marriage to Henri IV, and regent from 1610 to 1614. Widowed in 1610, she assumed the regency in the name of her son, King Louis XIII, until September 28, 1614.
