Round barrel with markings: Mle 1873. M, on top. Right side S. 1878. Left side 158 and M and J hallmarks.
White polished steel frame. 6-shot cylinder. Single and double action. Controller hallmarks.
The mechanical parts have retained their straw-yellow finish.
Wooden stock plates checkered with the gun number. Bélière ring on piton. Cap stamped with the navy anchor.
All parts numbered and stamped.
Very good overall condition. Mirrored barrel and chambers.

Total production of the 1873 Marine revolver is 13188.
