Regency Period Tomb Chest Of Drawers
Large chest of drawers in violet wood veneer. It opens with four drawers in three rows. Arched facade, curved uprights. Ornamentation of gold-gilded bronzes: pull handles and keyholes with acanthus, falling flowers, foliage, shells and dragons, wands with lictor's fasces, leafy clogs and apron with foliage. Brass strips on the front and sides. Walnut frame, Belgian red cherry marble top. Early 18th century period. Height 83 cm, width 135 cm, depth 65 cm. Veneer: wear, later locks and key.
