Cannage Bench - Louis XVI Style - Directory

Charming little bench, one place, Louis XVI style, with wooden structure. It has two openwork and reversed armrests. The uprights finished in windings are scalloped. Decorations of shells, acanthus leaves and scrolls also adorn the arms of this bench, garnished in the middle with double canework: one tight and the other more airy. It is the latter that we find on the rectangular seat of this seat. The crosspieces are molded and embellished with sculpted friezes. The whole rests on four curved legs ending in scrolls, and sculpted with acanthus leaves and flowers highlighting the arches of the feet.
