Small Sèvres Porcelain Vase

Rare small Sèvres porcelain vase by Derny. Decorated with a mythological scene on a tawny/brown background. Signed by Marcel Derny (1914-2003), a sculptor who worked in Sèvres from 1934 until 1976. An animal sculptor, Derny collaborated with great sculptors, notably Janniot, whose influence can be seen here. Height 12.5 cm. Very good condition except for a non-through enamel crack.
