Glass Service, “gorge De Pigeon” Color, Portieux Glassware, Late 19th Century, 51 Pieces
Very beautiful “pigeon throat” colored service, Portieux glassware, late 19th century, 51 pieces. Round foot, leg with double ring in transparent glass, red chalice with flat sides. The carafes are red and their cap is transparent. It consists of 12 water glasses, 12 red wine glasses, 12 white wine glasses and 12 champagne glasses and 3 carafes. Height: Water glass: 15.5 cm. Red wine glass: 12.3 cm. White wine glass: 11.3 cm. Cuts: 10.6 cm. Carafes: 24.5 cm without cap, 29.5 cm with cap. A superb model, chic and pure in form, in good general condition. This pretty red, a little faded, characteristic of 19th century glasses of this color. A complete service, which is rare!!!
