Opening with 4 drawers in herringbone rosewood veneer. Bearing the JME, as well as the cabinetmaker's signature. Later Alpine Breccia marble. Has his key. Good original condition. JME (Jurés Maîtres Ébénistes) is a compulsory control stamp from 1743, which appears next to the master's personal mark.
