The posture suggests an intensely contemplative person.
The surface of the sculpture is lightly brushed, the hair is finely structured, hands, feet and the lower smock are linearly structured.
The stylized limbs give the object a cubic note.
The expression is contemplative and lively despite the withdrawn
posture. The sandstone appears clear and natural, the object has a
calming effect and could also be somewhat reminiscent of Rodin's "Thinker".
