Sewing Necessary Box In Vermeil Nineteenth Napoleon III Period
Very beautiful 19th century vermeil sewing kit. It contains a pair of scissors, a needle case, a sewing awl, a vermeil lace guide needle. These elements are stamped with a boar's head. They are in very good condition. The thimble is worn, a little deformed, pierced and is not in vermeil. The box is in ivory with monogram on the lid. Inside, the tools rest on velvet. The interior cover has a small fleece covered in silk. No missing items from the box. It measures 12.2 cm in length and 6.5 cm in width.
