Very Large Flat Desk With Zippers Napoleon III Period Napoleon 3 Boulle
DESCRIPTION: Important flat desk with zippers from the Napoleon III period in blackened wood. Important ornamentation of gilded bronzes with ingot molds, patterns on the sides and spandrels, keyholes, sabots, asparagus. 5 belt drawers, one double, two singles and one central drawer. The other side is richly decorated with bronze motifs so that it can be positioned in the middle of a room. Very pretty Louis XVI style model, rare due to its large dimensions. Black coating with small iron gilding (florets, braid and central motif). DIMENSIONS: Length 1m90 (and two zippers of 44cm each, i.e. 2m78 deployed), width 93 cm.
