Young girl from Aswan going to the source by the French sculptor Georges Charles Coudray (Paris 1862 - 1944). A student of Falguière, Allouard and Thomas at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he exhibited at the Salon from 1883 to 1903 sculptures in plaster, stone or terracotta in the Art Nouveau or Orientalist style. Beautiful patina, round stamp of the founder.
