Very beautiful 18th century gouache, representing a gallant scene in the foreground and a lively landscape in the background with some dwellings and religious buildings. The whole thing is very decorative with its fresh colors and its composition but remains quite naive! It is an anonymous 18th century French school but from the entourage of Louis Gabriel MOREAU (1740-1806). Beautiful more recent framing.
