Mythology
Pair of earthenware ewers in the Majolica movement (Italy?) garnishing buffets during the Renaissance.
The decorations represent mythological scenes: “Leda and the Swan” for one and “Venus and Love surprised by a Faun” for my second.
The handles are zoomorphic and end with a Medusa head.
These ewers are mounted as lamps.
