Marine, Fishing Return Signed Rabier

Very pretty 19th century painting made with oil paint on a wooden panel. It presents a charming marine scene animated by the return of fishing from different boats. This oil on panel is signed Rabier, attributed to François Auguste Rabier (1807-1877), a French painter from Chalon-sur-Marne, specialized in marine painting. Many of his works are in private collections and galleries, mainly in France. This painting is magnified by a gilded frame with gold leaf. The dimensions of the frame are as follows: Length: 48 cm Height: 30 cm As for the panel itself, its dimensions are: Length: 36.5 cm Height: 18 cm The work has been carefully cleaned by an approved restorer from the Musée de France.
