Napoleon III Donkey Desk In Martin Varnish

Superb and elegant Napoleon III donkey desk in rosewood and Martin varnish. It rests on 4 arched legs connected by scrolled crosspieces on the sides. It opens on the front with a large curved and scrolled drawer decorated with gilded and chiseled bronze threads. The central part opens with a flap and a cylinder which slides revealing 3 drawers and a top covered with pomegranate felt. The cylinder is decorated with a gallant scene composed of 2 women and a man against a background of greenery. set in martin varnish. Above we find a set of 3 drawers topped with marble and surrounded by a bronze gallery. The entire piece of furniture is decorated with bronzes, scraps, foliage, finely chiseled and gilded fillets.
