" Clock Portico Eagle Napoléon III"
Imposing portico clock in the Empire style and from the Napoleon III period. Architecture made of veined sienna marble and ornamentation in gilded bronze. Structure with four columns decorated with capitals, palmettes and rosettes. The upper part is decorated with incense burners and an imposing and magnificent eagle with outstretched wings almost equal to the width of the clock.
Large dial composed of a disc in white enamel and a central part in guilloché bronze, the whole protected by a flat glass. The space between the columns is occupied by a richly chiseled bronze pendulum and a drapery. Base decorated with a palmette frieze and a twisted outline. Four chiseled flattened ball feet.
Original mechanism without modification. Ringing of the hour and half hour on an old bell.
